Triptch
In my first triptch, the subject is a tree located in my backyard that has been partially cut down. In my second triptch, the subject is a dried up hydrangea plant in my garden. All of my photos are taken vertically. For my first triptch, the point of view is fairly close. I did zoom in in every photo captured, some more than others. I am standing directly beneath the tree while taking these and just moving around it. In my second triptch, I am kneeling on the ground capturing different angles and parts of the flower including the stem and flower itself. Both of my triptchs are unified because they are the same object being photographed in each one. My photos are not really conceptually unified. Both of my triptchs communicate the beauty of nature even though there are no leaves or beautiful, blooming flowers. They illustrate the bare nature of wintertime and the affect that light can have on them. I especially love how the blue sky contrasts with the brown textured branches as well as on the tree bark. In the second triptch I like how the light shines on thhe flower as well as the stems that are broken and weathered.
